Pre-season Update: Zito satisfied after Allies stalemate

For the first time in the pre-season, Dreams FC failed to record a win but acting Manager of the club, Abdul Karim Zito is impressed with his side’s output.

Dreams FC played out a 1 – 1 trial game against Premier League side Inter Allies at the Tema Park on Saturday morning as both sides fine-tune preparations for the 2017/18 season.

However, Karim Zito believes his team only need time to gel properly in the 3-5-2 formation.
“They are coping with the system we want them to play. The level of intelligence is not the same but some are grabbing it very fast.

“We’ll still continue with our trial matches. Right now we are in the low profile very soon we would go to the high profile games and see how the team responds.

“It is not an easy system where you can walk on the field of play, you need to be attentive throughout the 90 minutes of the game.

Dreams FC commenced the pre-season friendlies with a 6-0 rioting over lower tier side Eastern Eaglets before recording a lone goal victory over Benin based Abi Sporting Academy last Thursday.

Striker Zuberu Sharani currently leads the goal king chart in the off season with four goals.
