MacCarthy nears recovery, sees 90 minutes against Allies

Dreams FC goalkeeper Philemon MacCarthy is almost back to full fitness and ready for regular action after a knee injury forced him out for over three months.

Philemon who rejoined the club after a short spell in Israel in 2017 featured for Dreams FC last Sunday when the Still Believe lads hosted Inter Allies in a pre season friendly which ended goalless at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

With the Ghana Premier League season yet to get underway, the former black stars goalie’s return is surely good news for manager Karim Zito who’s already struggling to get his first team in shape due to injuries in pre-season.

Meanwhile the playing body was handed a two day break by the Technical team and would return to training on Wednesday.
