Post-Match Presser – Manager Zito proud of win

Manager Zito says he is proud of the win against Wa All Stars in Wednesday’s Ghana Premier League matchweek 3 fixture in Cape Coast.

A solitary goal in the first half from in form striker, Zuberu Sharani was enough to secure all 3 points from a game Dreams FC played home away from home due to broadcasting obligations and Manager Zito said he is happy for the boys also because of the disappointment in the game against Berekum Chelsea last Sunday in Berekum.

“I am very happy for my boys because I told them we just missed 2 points when we played against Berekum Chelsea although it was everybody’s game.”

He further added that he told his players to use this game against Wa All Stars to make amends for the dropped points in Berekum.

“I told them that this is a must win game and so they should play and win to make amends for the Berekum Chelsea game.”

There were a lot of goals during the pre-season scored by Dreams FC but they seemed to be coming in bits in the league so far and in addressing it, Manager Zito noted that injuries to some of his players is the reason he does not have his squad at full strength to get the goals but he is happy with the efforts of the available players.

“I do not have my full team because of injuries and that could be affecting what is going on but I am very happy with the tactical efforts of the available players as they have shown great discipline.”

This win means Dreams FC are still unbeaten in the league.
