Player Ratings: Dreams FC 2-0 Aduana Stars
We secured our third win on the trot as two second half goals from Patrick Arthur and Issah Yakubu in a space of 7 minutes sunk defending league champions, Aduana Stars on Monday at the Theatre of Dreams.
So, here’s how our player’s fared on the day.
Isaac Amoako – 3.5/5
He was brilliant in post especially in the first half as the opponents were constantly making dangerous threats in our goal area. He ensured he kept his 6th clean sheet of the season.
Maxwell Arthur – 3/5
He was solid in defense today as he held his own against Aduana’s experienced wingers.
Montari Kamaheni – 3/5
Montari had an overall good game. Defensively, he was on point but the quality of his crosses was once more lacking.
Issah Yakubu – 3.5/5
He had a perfect game. He was on hand to stop several Aduana attack and didn’t look afraid to pass the ball from behind even under pressure. He capped the good performance with a goal of his own.
Massaudu Abdulai – 3.5/5
He was his usual best at the back. His composure on the ball was impressive and was very strong facing the opponent.
Patrick Arthur – 3.5/5
Against a tough Aduana midfield, Patrick held his own on the day. He linked up the forwards and defence well and looked fearless. He did well to find himself an empty space to slot in the opener
Kwadwo Asamoah – 3/5
Yet another top performer on the day, Kwadwo Asamoah recovered from a tough first half to take the game to the opponents in the second half. His ball handling was always a problem for Aduana as he was consistently fouled by the opponent. He was on hand to flick on a corner kick to Issah Yakubu to score the second of the day.
Leonard Owusu – 4/5
The team’s top performer on the day, Leonard proved a handful for Aduana as he dribbled and passed around them with ease. He executed a perfect freekick to find Patrick Arthur for the opening goal of the game.
Benjamin Ayim – 3/5
He was rewarded for his good cameos this season with a start and he never looked out of place as he used his pace to trouble the Aduana defenders.
Eric Gawu – 3/5
Eric Gawu once again made his experience count as he held his own up front when he was usually left all alone especially in the first half. His hold up play was also on point.
Zuberu Sharani – 3/5
It wasn’t one of his best games as he had it tough at times against the Aduana defenders in the game but found a few patches of brilliance to torment the opponents.
