Samed plays full throttle in Ghana draw

Still Believe FC’s Abdul Samed lasted the entire duration in the Ghana U17’s barren draw against Niger in the ongoing Africa Cup qualifying tournament.

Spotting the number 17 jersey, Samed played in his favourites left-back position in the game against the tournament hosts on Wednesday.

Ghana was however unlucky not to have secured maximum points against Niger especially after missing an early penalty kick.

The Black Starlets must now beat Togo in their final group game to guarantee progress in the competition.

Only the winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2019 U17 Africa Championships slated for Tanzania.

Abdul Samed was scouted and joined Still Believe FC two seasons ago.

He is regarded as one of the budding stars expected to be promoted soon into the Dreams FC first team.
