Islamic prayers observed for new season

Dreams Football Club on Friday February 1 2019 observed Islamic prayers  for the new year at the Khalufa Rashideen mosque in Accra.

The exercise which is held annually before the commencement of the football season was lead by Vice President Prince Abdul Hamid as the team joined the congregation for their Jummah prayers.

Malam Addo, the Chief Imam of the mosque applauded the club for their commitment to God and prayed for a successful season for the team after the normal congregational prayers.

“Hard work and discipline are the key notes for every footballer. With these two attributes, you will achieve your targets,” Malam Addo said.

He was full of praise for the technical and management teams for their efforts to make the club one of the best in the country and assured them of more successes in the coming years.

Head of Comminity Relations, Alhaji Cliff,  expressed appreciation on behalf of the team for the support received from the entire congregation.

Other members of the delegation included Administrative Manager Ameenu Shardow and Manager Juha Pasoja.

Meanwhile a similar exercise would be held at the St Andrew Catholic church in Achimota on Sunday.
