Annual church service held as Dreams FC seek blessings for 2019
Dreams Football Club crowned a weekend prayers and thanks giving with a spirit-filled church service on Sunday as the entire team worshiped at the St Andrew Anglican Church on Sunday, February 3, 2019.
Led by the President of the club Executive Chairman Kurt Okraku, the entire leadership of the club as well as the playing body and the technical team were present for the service as the venue has been a regular ground for such exercises following the club’s triumph in the 2018 G8 cup as well as qualification from the Division One League in 2017.
President of the club Jiji Mohammed and Vice President Prince Abdul Hamid graced the occasion.
The commitment of the club and its leadership to God was lauded by Reverend Father Samuel Quartey as he prayed for success for the club in the year 2019 and beyond.
He also prayed for strength, good health and an injury-free season for the club and urged the players to be committed to their game and be determined in their pursuit of success.
Father Quartey also advised the players to be disciplined and respect their coaches as the new season approaches.
Dreams FC would be participating in the upcoming Normalization Committee Special Competition scheduled to kick off in a fortnight.
