#GPLWK14 : ISSAH YAKUBU CONFIDENT OF A HOME VICTORY AGAINST KARELA TOMORROW.

Dreams FC’s defender Issah Yakubu spoke to the Dreams Media ahead of the teams week 14 fixture against Karela United at home, the dependable defender reflected on the team’s performance in week 13’s game in Bechem and also his sides readiness as they play 17th placed side Karela United tomorrow at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

ON THE BECHEM GAME ,

“I Will first of all thank God for bringing us  home safely. On the game itself, I think we should have won the  match because we outplayed our opponent and dominated play but couldn’t get the three points. A point is better than none so we move on and prepare for our game against Karela tomorrow. We played so well that we should have beaten Bechem United, it was our win but we will go to the drawing board and work on our mistakes and definitely  beat Karela at home tomorrow”.

COMMENT OF THE TEAM’S POSITION ON THE LEAGUE TABLE,

“We are worried as a team and I am personally not happy with our position but if you take a look at the point difference and the nature of the league table just a single win can move you up to a better position, so we are preparing for our next game against Karela,we will surely get a win and change our position”.

ANY PRESSURE PLAYING AT HOME TOMORROW,

“Although we’ve  not had a good home run there is no pressure on us playing at home tomorrow and we are starting a home win with Karela United, the fact that we have lost at home doesn’t mean we are going to lose all our home games.Things will change from tomorrow”.

ON WHO SHOULD TAKE UP GOAL SCORING RESPONSIBILITIES,

“A time will come the defenders are going to do the scoring and secure points for the team, there will also be a time  the midfielders will be doing the scoring. I think we are a team and we need to score as a team. We all play with a single logo which is Deams FC and that means we need to score as a team but not leave the responsibilities in the hands of only our strikers. So we are going into tomorrow’s game with that mentality and whoever gets the goal It’s for the team and that’s more important. We win as a team and lose as a team”.

MESSAGE TO THE FANS AHEAD OF OUR GAME TOMORROW,

“I will say that they should expect good football  tomorrow and we are going to give them the victory”.So they should come to Dawu in their numbers.

Dreams FC will be hosting Karela United FC tomorrow at the Theatre Of Dreams,Dawu at exactly 3:00 pm in a mid week fixture.
