24 Hours After: Coach Zito elated with victory.

Manager Abdul Karim Zito has expressed happiness with his sides ability to claim all 3 points against heavyweights Asante Kotoko.

This he said was due to returning to winning ways after a poor run of results from his team heading into this game.

’Before the game we played 3 matches and got only 1 point so it was incumbent on us to be able to beat Kotoko. So the attitude we took into the game was to beat them at all cost and at the end of the day everybody was happy.’’

The game looked to set to end in yet another frustrating draw until substitute George Dwubeng struck but according to Manager Zito, he had confidence in his sides ability to get the winning goal because of the tactical changes he made.

’All the changes I did was to add pressure on Kotoko and I realized the Kotoko players looked tired so we mounted pressure from the wings and got what we wanted. Also, I brought in a defensive midfielder which means we still wanted to push forward and then I told him to go forward leaving the back two.’’

This win moved Dreams FC up to 5th place on the league log and will face Liberty up next.
