Pre-Match Presser: Coach Dormon expects Medeama to come tough
Assistant Coach of Dreams FC, Winfred Dormon says he expects Sunday’s opponents, Medeama SC to come tough.
According to him, playing them in their home turf at the T&A Park alone is testament of how difficult it could be.
“Medeama at Tarkwa appear to be very strong. In fact, T&A Park is a fortress for them.”
The hosts have had a good season so far as they lie third on the log with just a point separating them from the top 2 and Coach Dormon acknowledges that.
“They’ve been impressive. There is only a point separating us from them and that will be a motivation for them to try and beat us. We watched their last game against Ebusua Dwarfs and they have intelligent players who can turn the game around.”
He, however, notes that despite the trickiness of the tie, Dreams FC have their strategies in place to stand Medeama.
“Dreams FC see this game as a tricky game but we have our tactics and strategies in place. We also have our own good players who can counter them and we believe we shall go there to come good.”
He further adds that he expects the players to be cautious and positive on the day.
“I expect us to be cautious, positive and play to instructions.”
Dreams FC will be hoping to record a first ever win over Medeama in the top flight in Sunday’s game.
