Botwe community comes alive as Dreams hold homecoming fiesta
It was all fun and merry making at the Ashalley Botwe School Park on Friday afternoon as the Dreams FC held a homecoming fiesta as part of activities for its 10th year anniversary.
The thrilling event which brought together players of different generations commenced arc 1pm with a donation to the Ashalley Botwe Mosque towards its reconstruction.
The main attraction of the day was the clash between legions of the club and the current squad of Dreams FC.
Ex striker John Antwi lead the lines for this contingent with support from Leonard Owusu, Michael Sarpong, Emmanuel Lomotey, Emmanuel Adjei Sowah and George Dwubeng.
Also included in the squad was Spanish trio Ginaid Aruna, Clifford and RASHID Sani with former goalie ISAAC Akonto keeping the post.
Ex skipper Kingsley Nana Sei “Alcantara” also featured for the legions.
As side attraction, the stars also fetted the kids from the Botwe Community at half time making the event a life changing experience for these young ones.
This is the second time the homecoming fiesta is being organized and promises to get bigger in the coming year.
Meanwhile a gala is expected to be held to crown the anniversary celebrations.
