MATCH REPORT: DREAMS DEMOLISH KING FAISAL IN SEASON OPENER

The Theatre of Dreams was thrown into a state of ecstasy after at the end of 90 minutes after Dreams FC drowned King Faisal in a 4-1 victory on the opening day of the 2019/20 league season.

The home side got the opener through Emmanuel OCRAN in the 44th minute with a left footer brazing the upright.

The sharp shooter recorded a brace in 52nd with a sublime finish after connecting to Issah Ibrahim’s splitter which unsettled King Faisal goalkeeper Dumfeh in the 18 yard box.

At this stage, the Still Believe lads were total control and showed more dominance in all aspects of the game.

Striker Ibrahim Issah turned from assist to goal scorer in 65th minute to register his first goal of the season.

Faisal however showed signs of staging a comeback and grabbed a goal through Lateef Mohammed in the 77th minute. The attempt was however short lived after substitute Dantani Amadu registered the fourth and final goal of the game in the 85th minute.

Not much changed beyond this as the crowed danced to music amid gestures from Believer the mascot in anticipation of the final whistle.

The victory becomes the first time the club has scored four in a league game since the 2016/17 season after a 4-2 victory over Berekum Chelsea.

Dreams FC travel to the Bring region on match day two in a fixture vrs Techiman Eleven Wonders.
