MATCH REPORT: Sulemana’s sole strike stuns XI Wonders in Techiman
A fourteenth minute strike from debutant Sulemana Mohammed was enough to hand Dreams FC all three points at stake against Techiman XI Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Sunday.
The match day two fixture was the first away game for the Still Believe lads and had all the attributes of a cagey duel after the home side’s impressive output in Baba Yara on match day one.
Sulemana, formerly a striker was drafted from the club’s youth squad Still Believe FC and nurtured into a left back stepped up to the occasion as he utilized an advantage from a quick counter attack.
Dreams FC came close to hitting the double after Emmanuel Ocran’s goal bound effort rattled the crossbar minutes after the opener.
The second half saw a game of equals with Dreams FC effecting all three substitutions to keep the results intact.
Striker Dantani Amadu came off for midfielder Samuel Nii Armah while goal scorer Sulemana was subbed off by Roy Ridigo Mensah.
Emmanuel Ocran also gave way to Kwame Otu fives minutes from full time.
The win sees Dreams FC maintain a 100% record with 6 points from 2 games and currently occupy the third spot on the league log.
