#MATCH REPORT | Dreams FC Beat Medeama To Record First Home Win In Dawu.

Dreams FC got off to a winning start at the Theatre of Dreams for the new season after edging out Medeama SC in a 2-1 victory.

Manager Zito started with a strong side, a more offensive-minded team playing Esso, Agyenim, Ocran, and Ali Huzaif all in the starting line-up just to have more men upfront. It was a win or nothing for the still believe lads and the starting XI said it all.

The zeal and the determination paid off finally when Joseph Esso snatched a ball from the visiting defense to calmly put it into the back of the net in the 14th minute, the visitors responded quickly making more goal attempts but Solomon Agbasi and his defense kept the goal safe in the first 45 minutes.

Medeama SC came back stronger in the second half and finally equalized through former Dreams FC player Kwadwo Asamoah in the 75th minute.

The technical team responded quickly with 3 substitutions which made an instant impact (Agyenim, Ali Huzaif, and Ocran made way for Dantani, Boah and Issah Ibrahim).

After constant effort at goal, Esso’s individual brilliance won the lads a penalty after he was brought down in the 88th minute when the forward was set on goal.

Substitute Issah Ibrahim stepped up and calmly put the ball at the back of the net to make the scoreline 2-1 in favor of the home side.

Dreams now have 4 points out of two games, a feat Zito and his technical team are proud of.
