#GPLwk6: Dreams FC 0 – 1 Kotoko

Dreams Football Club recorded its first home defeat after painfully losing to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at home in their week 6 fixture.

It was the lad’s last game before the Christmas break and the team wanted nothing but a win, but things went South after Moro Ibrahim’s goal won Kotoko the 3 points.

A busy first half saw Dreams FC create all the goal-scoring opportunities but could not put the ball at the back of the net. After dominating play and failing to score, Moro Ibrahim out of nothing powered his side ahead with a long-range strike which beat Amoah.

Dreams returned from the break to continue from where they left off but all attempts were blocked by Abalora who on countless times kept his side in the game.

It was another 90 minutes of Dreams FC dominating play but with no point to show for, a results that Dormon isn’t happy with but he says he expects a new Dreams FC next year.

“We once again dominated play but have nothing to show for, football is a game of points and you can’t dominant without a goal. Kotoko had a goal out of nothing and we have ourselves to blame. We play our next game in 2021 and I expect a new and revived Dreams FC.
