#MatchReport | Victor Oduro’s Equalizer Secures First Away Point In 2021.

It was the first game in the new year and the three points was all the lads wanted when the team visited King Faisal in week 7 of the Ghana Premier League. But we had to settle for a point after the host proved to be a hard nut to crack.

The host went ahead in the first half through Kwadwo Frimpong after dominating the open exchanges. The lads respond quickly by putting more men upfront to fight for the equalizer but all efforts either forced a save out of the goalkeeper or went off target.

A good first half for the host ended 1 – 0 with Dreams FC going into the break hoping to return with a different approach. Manager Karim Zito returned from the break with two quick substitutions in the second half – Joseph Esso and Micheal Agbepkornu came in for Abel Manomey and Latif Clement respectively.

The two experienced players made an instant impact and ensured that Dreams FC dominated play in the second half.

After fighting on and pushing more men upfront, Dreams FC got the equalizer through Victor Oduro’s deflected strike which gave the lads their first away point in 2021.

It was a tough game for the lads but a positive start to 2021 following a back to back defeat in week 5 and 6.
