A Brace From Talisman Esso And Agyenim Secures Dreams FC Maximum Points At Home

Dreams Football Club produced a stellar performance at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu on Sunday, 24th January 2021 and beat Dansoman based Liberty Professionals 4 – 1 in the week ten fixture of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier league.

A brace from both Agyenim Boateng Mensah and captain of the day Joseph Esso was enough to secure the Still Believe lads their third home win in their 2020/21 campaign. 

Agyenim Boateng connected a cross from Victor Oduro with his head in the 37th minute to put the Still Believe lads ahead. Oduro right after Agyenim’s goal won  The Believers a penalty and Esso stepped up to make it 2 for Dreams in the 40th minutes. 

The visitors equalized through a Daniel Antwi penalty to make the scoreline 2 – 1 before the break. 

Dreams FC  returned to continue from where they left off, Agyenim Boateng scored his second of the day to make the scoreline 3 – 1 in the 73rd minutes. The forward met a cross from Sulemana in the air and calmly headed it home to put his side in a comfortable lead.

Joseph Esso also scored his brace in the 89th minutes after he was brought down in the goal area. The forward who scored the second penalty of the day has increased his goal tally to four after leading the side to walk-pass Liberty.

Dreams who started the year in the button three have now moved up to the middle of the league table with 15 points.

The lads will be making a trip to Elmina in week 11 and a win is all they will play for.
