Dreams FC have qualified for its first-ever finals of the MTNFA Cup after beating Skyy FC 2-1 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday.
A strike each from Simba Sylvester and Huzaif Ali secure a hard-fought win for the Still Believe lads despite a consolation from Skyy FC
Dreams FC had a dream start to the game, taking the lead just three minutes into the first half.
Sylvester Simba scored a beautiful curler outside the penalty box to give the still believe lads the lead.
Four minutes later, Skyy FC were awarded a penalty but Solomon Agbesi did well to deny Baba Musah.
Dreams FC doubled their lead in the 19th minute, Ali Huzaif, after receiving a pass finished home with good composure.
In the 35th minute, Skyy FC reduced the deficit, and Eric Antwi Konadu scored from close range, complementing a good work by Andrews Cobbinah.
The second half of the game saw no goals as Dreams FC held on to win 2-1 and secure a place in the final for the first time.
Dreams FC will play the winner of the game between King Faisal and Nsoatreman in the final.
